Woodberry Forest School wins 8th consecutive Disharoon Cup

Woodberry Forest won its eighth consecutive Disharoon Cup vs. St. Paul's of Baltimore on Saturday, 21-7. The match was held at the Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, VA. The format is match play, with eight singles and four fourball matches. The Tigers have won 9 of 13 matches in the series.

At the end of the front nine, all singles matches were split, and the score stood 4-4. The Tigers finished off the Crusaders with strong play on the back nine, winning six of the eight matches, and halving the remaining two.

With the win, Woodberry Forest improves to 2-0-1 on the season. The Tigers next play St. Anne's at Birdwood GC on Tuesday.
