Coach Marc Hogan and Timothy Walter '13 to represent US golf in UK

Timothy Walter '13 has been selected for 2013 Blair-Wellington Golf Tour. He will be part of an eight-player American team that will travel across the UK in June for 16 days of golf against British school teams such as Wellington, Eton, Radley, and Whitgift. Timothy is the fourth Woodberry golfer to represent the US, joining Tee Nunnelee '96, David Carver '02, and older brother Thomas Walter '10.

Coach Marc Hogan will be one of two chaperones on the trip.

Since 1971 over 70 schools and 200 golfers have participated in the biennial UK tour. The British team -- known as The Swifts -- travels to the US every other year, and has been coming to Woodberry Forest since 1973.
