Andrew Rice works with fall golfers

Andrew Rice, Director of Instruction at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa and current parent of Jameson Rice '19, returned to Woodberry Forest this weekend to work with the varsity golfers. Each student had an individual lesson and participated in group activities designed to simulate playing conditions during competitive rounds. As one participant put it, "I learned the true value of skill in the golf game, and how it isn't always the normal ways of practice that make you better."

Coach Marc Hogan said, "I appreciate Andrew's enthusiasm and expertise. For me, his weekend clinics are a graduate seminar in golf instruction."
