Varsity golf loses at Trinity; JV golf wins quad match

The #7 Tigers traveled to Richmond to face the #5 Trinity Episcopal Titans at Salisbury Country Club. The hosts proved too much, shooting a -1 par team score of 143 to best Woodberry by 13 shots. Hughes Edwards was low for the Tigers with a +1 round of 37, followed by Benny Haggin (39), Jack Stein (40), and making his varsity debut Alex Forward (40). Also playing were Matthew Durham (43) and Luke McNabb (WD because of injury). With the loss, Woodberry drops to 5-4.

The JV golfers had better success south of the James yesterday at Windy Hill.
