The JV Golf Team lost a close match to Collegiate on Friday, 229 - 226. Normally, a high school match records the best four scores on a six-man team, but today we used 8 players and recorded the best 5 scores.
Rob Neill was the match medalist, shooting a 2-over par score of 37.

Varsity golf wins at Collegiate
The Tigers traveled to Richmond to play Collegiate at the Country Club of Virginia Tuckahoe Creek's course. Woodberry shot +2 (146) to defeat the Cougars (150). Caroline Curtis for Collegiate was the medalist with a three under par 33.

Tiger golfers victorious in first home match
Woodberry Forest shot even par (140) in the first home match of the 2016 season to defeat St. Anne's Belfield (148) and Trinity Episcopal (179). The 140 score was the lowest total since May 9, 2014 when Woodberry defeated St. Chris 140-156 at home.
The Tigers' B group shot +4 (144). Playing for the B group, fourth former Woodson Smith was the medalist with a two under par score of 33.
With the wins, Woodberry squares its season record at 4-4. The Tigers travel to Richmond to play Collegiate on Friday.
