Tigers finish with best record since 2005

In their final home match, the Tigers defeated Covenant 167-183 on Friday. Woodberry Forest finishes the regular season 15-1, their best record since 2005 (11-0). Senior Charles Blaydes was the medalist with a 40.

Woodberry Forest next plays in the Virginia Prep League Championship at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian on Monday, May 14.

Woodberry wins final regular season match, now 14-1


Woodberry Forest wins its final regular season match at St. Christopher's 149-154. The Tigers improve their record to 14-1. Shep Hardison was the medalist with a 1 over par round of 35.

JV Golf Invitational shortened to nine holes

The first Woodberry Forest JV Golf Invitational was shortened to nine holes Saturday after a strong rainstorm dumped enough water on the Woodberry Forest course to flood several greens. Episcopal High School won the tournament with a score of 167. Woodberry Forest's A group finished 2nd with a score of 171. Allston Moore of EHS was the medalist with a three over par score of 38.

JV returns to winning ways

The JV golfers returned to their winning ways on Friday, with a home victory over Collegiate, 166 -186. Third former Hawk Swearingen was the medalist with a 40.
The JV improved their record to 6-2.
