Golfers enjoy spring break trip

Ten WFS golfers and two coaches traveled to St. Simons Island, Georgia, for three days of golf this past week. We were hosted by Bob and Mary Jo Prater at their home. The first day's golf was at the Sea Island Resort's Seaside and Plantation courses. On day two , the team was hosted by Charley Packard at the Frederica Golf Club on St. Simons Island, a favorite site for many PGA tour pros, and the Sea Island Resort's Retreat course. The group also received a workout session with golf fitness guru, Randy Myers.

On the final day of the trip, we traveled to Bluffton, SC, to Berkeley Hall Golf Club, where we were hosted by PGA teacher and Director of Instruction Andrew Rice. Here, we played an exhibition match against Hilton Head Christian Academy.

Thanks to all our hosts for making our trip memorable.
