The Bond MVP honors Woodberry Forest's long-time golf coach, Tom Bond, who won 12 Prep League championship during his tenure (1986-2000). The winner recognizes the player who has made the most significant contribution to the season. Senior Jack Dalrymple had the second lowest stroke average (77) and earned All-Prep status by virtue of his top 10 finish at the VPL tournament.
The Sam A Dougherty Award was established in 1948. It recognizes the senior who has made the most significant contribution to the golf program over his tenure at Woodberry Forest. Bennett duPont earned All-Prep honors three consecutive years (2010-12) and finished his career with a scoring average of 79.
The William H. White Golf Trophy recognizes the golfer with the lowest scoring average. It was first given in 1930, making it one of Woodberry Forest's oldest athletic awards. Senior Shep Hardison won the White Trophy for the second consecutive year with a scoring average of 75. Shep is the seventh golfer since 1967 to win the award at least twice. Shep earned All State honors this year by virtue of his top 10 finished at the VISAA tournament.
