At the 14th annual WFS/OCHS Fall Golf Invitational, the Tigers team score of 302 was 17 shots better than second place William Monroe. Senior Richard Hunt earned medalist honors with a 74. The tournament field featured nine teams from the Commonwealth District plus William Monroe. The win is Woodberry's12th Invitational title.
Captain Timothy Walter and 3rd former Peter Knade finished second with rounds of 75. Five Tigers earned All-Tournament honors by finishing in the top ten: Hunt, Walter, Knade, senior William Knibbs (78), and fifth former Thomas Mack (80).
Woodberry next plays Potomac at home Saturday at noon.
